Heatwave and wildfires in Europe

Extreme temperatures are currently affecting many areas of Greece. There are active wildfires across Greece, reaching populated areas on the mainland and a number of islands, most notably Rhodes and Corfu. Other destinations are now under close observation.

Firstly, we wish to express our sympathies for all those who have been affected, including holidaymakers, local communities, and our own supplier partners.

Our 24/7 Duty Office team is continually monitoring this rapidly evolving situation, as our upmost priority is our customers' safety and wellbeing. We remain close to all of our customers who are impacted at the moment either on the ground in resort or those due to travel, and will continue to keep in regular contact with them and offer support and advice where possible.

We offer many assurances to complement our Travel Counsellors' personal care and attention; our financial protection remains amongst the most comprehensive in the UK, and includes ATOL protection on our flight-inclusive packages alongside our own financial trust. We will always do the right thing by our customers to ensure they feel cared for and to help them enjoy their holiday wherever possible.
